In today's tough times it has never been more important for law enforcement and the community to be working together in an effort to stop crime before it starts. Let's face fact; we all want to feel safe. We want our community safe for ourselves, our families, and our friends and most important, our children. A commitment to public service and a partnership with you is the answer. We have made great advances in the past three years and we can continue on these advances and others as we move forward to a safer tomorrow together.
These are just a few of the goals that I will accomplish if you give me the opportunity to continue to serve you as your Sheriff. Through you, I will lead the Steuben County Sheriff's Office in being Committed to Public Service.
- Continued involvement in the community by participating in community programs and events
- Creating more partnerships in working together to better serve the citizens of Steuben County
- Continued active involvement in our lake associations throughout Steuben County
- Continuing to inform and educate the people on:

Leading the Sheriff's Office through experience and integrity I will:
- Continue to develop and expand upon a proactive agency in partnership with you
- Expand a well established advanced drug enforcement program that works directly with area detectives, patrol, federal authorities and the I.M.A.G.E. Drug Task Force
- Maintain a strict reporting system so that those reporting activity to police can do so without fear of being discovered
- Continue to expand upon a forward-thinking community oriented detective squad that uses modern technology and techniques to actively seek criminals
- Continue to expand and enhance our Reserve organizations to increase visibility in our communities and on our lakes
- Continue to actively lead a partnership with all emergency services in and around Steuben County
- Continue the use of strategic and conservative planning and budgeting to operate within our means in both enforcement and jail operations
